Rosenberg studied at Bennington College in Vermont where she majored in Dance and Theatre but she later received a Master’s Degree in Film and Television Producing...Read more from the University of Souther California. Following work with several television series, Rosenberg joined the writing staff of “The O.C.” but left that production to write “Step Up” (2006). Since then Rosenberg has worked as the head writer for the television series “Dexter” as well as writing the screenplays for “Alyx” and the “Twilight” film franchise – adaptations of Stephenie Meyer’s novels. Melissa has been nominated for two Emmy Awards and two Writers Guild of America Awards. She has also won a Peabody award.
