Egyptian writer born in 1935. He is famous for writing historical Islamic series such as Imam Al-Tirmidhi (1998), Laits bin Sa'ad (1999), and Ibn Majah Al-Qazwini (2000). He also wrote the film Me (1985). He passed away in 2013 at age 78, after a remarkable artistic career of Egyptian religious drama.
