Egyptian director born in Cairo. He studied at the High Institute of Performing Arts and is a member of the Cinema Syndicate. He held the position of Director General of Drama on Egyptian TV, and was head of Channel 4 of Egyptian public TV from 2002-2007. His works include the plays The Fox (1979), The Whirlwind (1986), and Let’s the Music Play (1993).
