A German film score composer and music producer, born in Frankfurt, Germany. He is one of the most famous film score composers in the world. He learned the piano and his mother encouraged him to do so with her high musical sense. After the death of his father, Zimmer created for himself a fantasy world full of music, to which he escapes in time of need. Some of his credits include Dunkirk, Inception, Dune, and Gladiator. He received numerous accolades, including two Oscars, three Saturn Awards, and four Grammys.
