Naomie Melanie Harris is an English actress who was born in London, England on the 6th of September, 1976. She is best known for her leading role in Danny Boyle’s zombie flick “28 Days Later” and for her supporting role in the second and third “Pirates of the Carribean” films. Naomie Harris was born and raised in London. Following her graduation from Pembroke College at the University of Cambridge, Harris studied at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Harris became internationally well-known following her lead performance in “28 Days Later” alongside Cillian Murphy. Since then, Harris has assumed a variety of television and cinema roles. She has been nominated for four awards, including a BAFTA and has won the Black Reel Award for Best Breakthrough Performance for her role as Selena in “28 Days Later”.
