He is an American actor, born on May 22, 1969 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to an Irish and Italian family, and he lived most of his youth in Georgia. His first acting appearance was in Lifestories: Families in Crisis (1994). He is known for Law Abiding Citizen (2009), Changeling (2008), and House of Cards (TV Series 2013–2018).
