    Dame Judith Olivia “Judi” Dench is an English film, stage and television actress born on the 9th of December 1934. In 1971, Dench married the British actor Michael Williams and they have an only child called "Tara Cressida Frances Williams", known professionally as "Finty Williams". Dench and her husband starred together in several stage productions. Known for playing dignified, strong willed women in positions of authority, she made her career debut in 1957. She participated in many plays including "Hamlet, "Romeo and Juliet" and "Macbeth". Moreover she won a BAFTA Award as Most Promising Newcomer and drew strong reviews for her leading role in the musical "Cabaret" in (1968). She is considered as one of the most significant British theatre performers, working for the National Theatre Company and the Royal Shakespeare Company. On the other hand, she achieved a huge success on TV series including "A Fine Romance"(1981-1984) and "As Time Goes By" (1992). She started her film appearance through "GoldenEye" (1995), since that date she used to participate in each "James Bond" film. She received several awards for her role as Queen Victoria in "Mrs. Brown" (1997), "Shakespeare in Love" (1998), "Chocolat" (2000), "Iris" (2001), "Mrs Henderson Presents" (2005) and "Notes on a Scandal" (2006). Dench has received many award nominations for her acting in theatre, film and television; her awards include ten BAFTAs, (including the Bafta Fellowship in 2001) seven Laurence Olivier Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Golden Globes, an Academy Award, and a Tony Award. Moreover, in June 2011 she received a fellowship from the British Film Institute (BFI).
