He completed his primary studies in Antakya and went to Damascus, where he graduated from the House of Scholars in Damascus in 1948 and obtained a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Damascus University and a...Read more Diploma in Education in 1952. After that, he worked as a teacher in Aleppo and Damascus and was appointed Secretary to The Supreme Council for Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences in 1968. He edited Al-Ba’ath Weekly Newspaper. In 1969, he contributed to the founding of the Arab Writers Union and headed it until 1971. His notable publications include "Arabs and Misery" and "Mohammad ʿAli Al-Qabisi: Founder of The Tunisian Movement ". He died on September 26, 1973, in Damascus.
