Egyptian actor, folklore artist, and singer. She was born in Kom Hamada, Beheira Governorate. She was introduced to the Egyptian radio by Zakaria Al-Hajjawi, who married her in 1961, and they separated in 1963. However, they did not separate artistically. She is known for Shiha's Tricks, and Women's Snare. She met Zakaria al-Hijjawi in the fifties and formed the Nile Troupe for folk art.
