A Syrian actor, born in Aleppo. After finishing elementary school, he practiced many professions. He began his artistic career with three theatrical performances. After his military service, he co-founded the People’s Theater, and during that period, he presented important...Read more theatrical works, including Tabrizi and His Follower. He also worked on Radio Aleppo, writing, directing, and acting in many radio shows. The late artist participated in some television works, and he appeared in one film, The Cheetah. In the mid-eighties, he moved to Damascus, where he joined the National Theater. He started his theatrical work there with the artist Duraid Lahham when he participated in two plays, including Cheers, Homeland. He later returned to Aleppo and worked on establishing the Aleppo National Festival, which he did in 1989. He died on March 5, 1993.
