Born in College Station, TX, Coulter studied theater direction at the University of Texas before moving to New York City to pursue his love of film. Being one of the most accomplished television directors of the early 21st century, Allen Coulter has an array of varied distinguished projects under his belt including 'Sex and the City', 'The Sopranos','Six Feet Under' and 'Damages'.Reaping a lot of award nominations as a result of his success with theses high profile series led him to venture into films and naturally gained him a reputation as one of the most versatile and dependable directors working in the industry.
