A Kuwaiti author and director, the first to monitor cinema after the transfer of cinema monitoring from Kuwait TV to the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters. He received many awards, the most important of which are: The Bronze Tanit Award for Short Narrative Films from the Carthage Film Festival in 1984 for the movie (The Decision). As well as the Best Film Award in the Documentary Film Competition from the Gulf Film Festival in 2008 for the movie (When the People Speak.. Part Two). He also won the Special Jury Prize from the Gulf Film Festival Dubai 2009 for the movie (When the People Spoken .. Part Three).
