A Jordanian writer, born in Amman. He moved to Lebanon from Jordan, his home country, which he was banned from entering as a result of his political stances. He obtained Lebanese citizenship, then moved to Syria, where he joined Damascus Radio in 1963 and was embraced by Duraid Lahham, Ghassan Jabri, Jamil Wilaya, and Khaldoun Al Maleh, and they all advised him to write for television. He moved from writing short stories to drama. Among his notable works are the series She and She (2011), Lost Photos (2003) and The Ditch (2000). He died on 11 March 2011.
