Isabel Lucas is an Australian television and film actress who was discovered when a Sydney talent agent was vacationing in Port Douglas. The producer of "Home and Away" (2003-2006) created an entire role for her after she auditioned. Lucas won a Logie award for her performance on the show. She was cast in 2009 in the blockbuster franchise "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" as Alice. A year later, she was cast in Spielberg's World War II miniseries "The Pacific" (2010). Lucas is an avid activist and supports a number of organizations like World Vision, The Humour Foundation, Women Against Violence, Oxfam Community Aid Abroad, Global Green Plan, Save the Whales Again and Sea Shepherd. In 2007, she was one of thirty activists (including American actress Hayden Panettiere) who took part in a protest of dolphin hunting in Japan. They surfed out and formed a circle, blocking fishing boats from conducting their slaughter. Their efforts were thwarted by one of the fishing boats that intercepted them. They drove straight to the Osaka airport and left to avoid being arrested for trespassing. There is still an outstanding arrest warrant for Lucas in Japan.
