An Indian actor, born in Mumbai in 1972, to an architect father and an Iranian mother who worked as a basketball coach. He studied at Bombay Scottish School and later joined Jai Hind College, from which he obtained a bachelor's degree in economics. At the beginning of his career, he worked as a model and participated in many commercials, which gained him fame and allowed him to work in Bollywood. He made his feature film debut in Jism (2003). His other works include Dhoom (2004) and New York (2009).
