Christopher Jonathan James Nolan is a British-American film director, screenwriter and producer born in London on the 30th of July 1970. He often collaborates with his younger brother "Jonathan" on film scripts. In 1997 Nolan married "Emma Thomas" and they have four children. He started his career in 1989 through producing, directing and writing "Tarantella", followed by "Larceny"(1996) and "Doodlebug"(1997).1998 was his Feature films debut with the British neo-noir film "Following" followed by "Memento"(2000)," Insomnia"(2002) and " Batman Begins"(2005).In 2006 he directed, produced and written "The Prestige"(2006)," The Dark Knight"(2008)," Inception"(2010) in addition to "The Dark Knight Rises"(2012).
