Elizabeth Stamatina Fey, better known as Tina Fey is an American television figure who was born on the 18th of May, 1970. Tina Fey’s has received much acclaim for her roles in comedy and she has thus far earned a long string of awards including seven Emmy’s and three Golden Globes. Fey’s career in comedy began when she joined the ranks of Saturday Night Live (SNL) as a writer in the late 1990s. Soon afterwards Fey joined the cast of that same show. In 2006 Tina Fey created her own television series “30 Rock”. Among Fey’s most memorable television performances was her portrayal of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin as part of guest appearances on SNL. That role earned Tina Fey an Emmy.
