Antoine Fuqua is an American film director. He was born in 1966 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and attended West Virginia University and West Virginia State University but did not graduate. He began his career by directing music videos for popular artists like Toni Braxton and Prince. He then went on to become a successful film director. His most successful films include Training Day (2001), Tears of the Sun (2003), King Arthur (2004), Shooter (2007), Brooklyn;s Finest (2010) and the 2014 thriller The Equalizer.
