Phillip Bradley “Brad” Bird is an American director and screenwriter who was born in Montana in 1957. He began his animation training at the age of 14 and graduated from Corvallis High School in 1975. Bird’s directorial and screenwriting debut was in the series Amazing Stories in 1985, but most of his notable works were animated films such as The Incredibles (2004), Ratatouille (2007), and Up (2009).
