Eric Garcia is an American writer and screenwriter who was born in 1972 in Miami, Florida. Garcia has authored “Matchstick Men” which was later adapted into a movie starring Nicolas Cage. Garcia also authored the “Anonymous Rex” series. As a youth Garcia attended Cornell University and later transferred to the University of Southern California. Among Garcia’s recent works is “Repo Men”. Garcia co-wrote the screenplay for the movie with Garrett Lerner, a writer for Fox’s “House” television series. The title starred Jude Law and Forest Whitaker.
