Lebanese actor, who was considered one of the pioneers in Lebanon, regardless that his well known theatre roles came in the 60's which was considered the Golden Era. He was born in Lebaa village, Jezzine district. He was known since 1941, where he started with a small role with Salam Fakhoury group (Al-Gomhoria Artistic Troupe). He has appeared in more than 60 theatre roles besides his TV and radio roles. He is known for the plays "Petra" and "Pension El Sitt Naima". He passed away on January 9, 2010 after a battle with illness.
