A Chinese writer and director born in Beijing, China. In 1989, she enrolled in the Beijing Film Academy to study film. After obtaining her BA in 1993, she continued her studies in screenwriting and obtained a Master's degree in 1996. She received Best Screenplay and Best Director awards in China Image Film Festival for Finding Mr. Right (2013). Her works including Ocean Heaven (2010) and My People, My Country (2019).
