James Badge Dale is an American television and film actor. As a 10-year-old, he was chosen out of his 5th grade class to audition for the role of Simon in the film adaptation of "Lord of the Flies" (1990), which he got. He returned to school afterwards, and eventually attended Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York. In the early 2000s, he began working on television series, booking small parts in shows like "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and "24." In 2006, he was cast as State Trooper Barrigan in Martin Scorsese's Oscar-winning film "The Departed." He is best known for playing the lead role of Will Travers in AMC's "Rubicon" (2010) a political thriller about a secret society that manipulates world events. He also plays one of the three main characters in the HBO miniseries "The Pacific," on which Steven Spielberg is an executive producer. In 2013, he'll be making appearances in the Johnny Depp film "The Lone Ranger" and "Iron Man 3."

James Badgett Dale is an American actor. He was born in 1978 in New York City. Dale is the only child of actor, dancer, and choreographer Grover Dale (born 1935) and actress and singer Anita Morris. He is known for his various roles on film and in television series, including Rubicon, 24, The Pacific and The Departed.
