Egyptian writer born in Damanhour. He obtained a BA of Arts from Cairo University. He started his life as a journalist and worked as a correspondent in some European capitals. He later became the editor-in-chief of the Middle East News Agency and an advisor to the Ministry of National Guidance. He died on December 7, 1984.
