Egyptian novelist and screenwriter born in 1961 in Mahalla. He won several awards for his writings including Suzanne Mubarak's Award for Children's Literature in 89-90-93 and Sharjah Arab Innovation Award in Children's Theater. His Works include the series Hearts Returned (2008), and Al Mounady (2005). He died on 16 February 2010 after a long battle with illness.
