Walton Goggins is an American film and TV actor who was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on November 10, 1971. He's best known for playing Shane Vendrell on the FX series "The Shield" (2002-2008), Boyd Crowder on "Justified," for which he earned a Primetime Emmy nomination. In film, he's appeared in "Miracle at St. Anna" (2008), "The Bourne Identity" (2002) and "Predators" (2010) as the lead antagonist. With his production company Ginny Mule Pictures, Goggins co-produced and starred in the short film "The Accountant" (2001), which won the Oscar for best live action short film. Recently, Goggins has appeared in "Cowboys and Aliens" (2011) as well as Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained" (2012) as Billy Crash, a sadistic slave overseer and Mandingo fighting trainer. Goggins is an avid traveller and photographer, posting his photos on his blog, www.hindutoyoutoo.blogspot.com, from his travels in Morocco, India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, and Central America. He is also passionate about environmental and humanitarian work.
