Jay Roach is an American filmmaker who was born on the 14th of June, 1957. He worked as a screenwriter and producer on the 1994 movie Blown Away. He studied economics alongside film production at the University of Southern California. He is best known for directing Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997), Meet the Parents (2000), and Trumbo (2015), as well as directing and producing Bombshell (2019).

Jay Roach is an American filmmaker who was born on the 14th of June, 1957. He studied economics at Stanford and earned his MFA degree in film production from the University of Southern California. Although Roach is perhaps best known for directing the “Austin Powers” films and “Meet the Parents” his directing and producing credits include many other productions such as “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” and “Mystery, Alaska” among others.
