A British actor and producer, born on January 13, 1977 in Canterbury, Kent, England, United Kingdom. He gradutaed from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He became known for his fantasy and adventure series, such as Pirates of the Caribbean, The Hobbit, and The Lord of the Rings. He is known for Troy, Kingdom of Heaven, Retaliation, and The Outpost.


Orlando Bloom graduated from Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. He performed several roles in different productions during his time there such as:'Little Me', 'A Month in the City', 'Peer Gynt', 'Mephisto', 'Twelfth Night', 'Trojan Women', 'The Seagull', 'Three Sisters', 'Recruiting Officer', 'Antigone', 'Uncle Vanya', 'A Night Out' and 'Mystery Plays'. At sixteen, he moved to London where he joined the National Youth Theatre for two seasons and received a scholarship to the British American Drama Academy. Upon graduation he played the leading role in 'A Walk in the Vienna Woods,' but 'Wilde' was the start of his distinct roles. Bloom decided to put his acting career on hold when he got accepted at Guildhall in order to delve deeper into his studies.
