An American actress, producer and comedian, who was born on July 30, 1963 in Los Angeles, California . She obtained a degree in science from Vassar College, and wanted to enter the field of research, so she returned to Los Angeles to work with her father, a physician. She is best known for her performance as Phoebe on the hit sitcom Friends (1994-2004), for which she won an Emmy Award in 1998. Her other works include: The Comeback (2005-2014), Romy and Michele's High School Reunion (1997), and The Opposite of Sex (1997). Lisa married the advertising director Michel Stern in 1995, and they have a son, Julian Murray.
