An American singer, writer, and actress, born in New York, United States. She got her first opportunity through the singing talent discovery program The Voice. Singer Adam Levine chose her to join his team, and although she did not win the competition, she had the opportunity to start her career. She performed songs such as "Dollhouse" and "Pity Party". Melanie performed her song “Soap” in the movie Nerve. She also directed the music video for her song, in addition to a number of other artistic works.
