Francis Ford Coppa was born on April 7, 1939. He is an Italian-American director, producer, and screenwriter, who has won five Academy Awards. Francis also co-written scripts such as Patton in 1970, for which he won an Academy Award in 1966. He is best known for The Outsiders (1983), Tetro (2009), and The God Father (1972).
