New Zealand actress born on 30 July 1966 in Wellington, New Zealand. She worked in theater for several years before she made her breakthrough in film on An Angel at My Table (1990), followed by Shallow Grave (1994). Her other works include Bright Star (2009) and Cloudstreet (2011).
