An American writer who was born in Westbury, New York, United States on December 30, 1966 as Alan Abraham Silinsky. He studied acting at HP Studio in New York City. His first short film, The Syndicate won the Audience Award at the Hamptons International Film Festival in 2002. His second film, The Fence received an honorable mention at Cinévigas in 2008. His most famous works are Crash (2004), The Next Three Days (2010), 100 Code (2015), and Show Me a Hero (2015).
