An American writer, actor, and producer, whose family moved from Wales to Virginia, where he obtained a scholarship from the University of Richmond. He was drafted into the army during World War II, and he served in France after the invasion of Normandy. He then joined the University of Cincinnati, where he studied broadcast communications in the early 1960s. He's known for Charlotte’s Web (2006) and Falcon Crest (2018). He died of bladder cancer on March 24, 2016.
