Italian director born on 20 May 1967 in Rome, Italy. He is the elder brother of actor Silvio Muccino, who often appears in his brother's films. He has won a David di Donatello award for Best Director for L'ultimo bacio (2001). His works include The Pursuit of Happyness (2006), Seven Pounds (2008), and Remember Me, My Love (2003).
