An American actor who was born in California in 1944. After graduating from the University of San Francisco, he presented some talk shows on television, until the opportunity came through which he achieved great fame in The Ropers, and has worked since that time between television and cinema. His films include: And Justice for All, Dr. Dolittle, Meet Joe Black, and Hellboy, as well as the TV series Arrested Development, WordGirl, and Transparent.
