An Indian producer, director, and screenwriter, born in Bombay, British India. He belonged to a famous family in the film industry. His father was the producer and director B. R. Chopra, his uncle was Yash Chopra, and his cousins ​​are Aditya Chopra and Uday Chopra. Among his notable credits are The Burning Train, Aaj Ki Awaz, Vishnu Puran, and Pratigyabadh. He married producer Renu Chopra, and his son is the director Abhay Chopra. He died on November 12, 2014, in Mumbai, India, due to lung disease.
