He is a British actor, born in Manchester, England on July 29, 1941. He studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and began his career in the film We Joined the Navy (1962). He is known for Tron, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, In the Mouth of Madness, and Titanic.
