American writer, producer, and director born as David Samuel Goyer on 22 December 1965 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He graduated from the University of Southern California in 1988. He wrote his first film, Death Warrant in 1990, and made his directorial debut with Zig Zag (2002). His most notable works include Dark City (1998), Flashforward (2009-2010), and Dark Knight trilogy (2005–2012).


David S. Goyer is an American director and screenwriter, born December 22, 1965. His screenwriting works includes the Blade trilogy, Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy, Dark City (1998), Man of Steel (2013), and its sequel Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016). He directed four feature films: Zig Zag (2002), Blade: Trinity (2004), The Invisible (2007) and The Unborn (2009).
