An American screenwriter, born in San Fernando Valley, California, United States. She served as Vice President of Creative Affairs at Sydney Pollack's production company. She studied media and visual arts at the University of California, San Diego. Then she began writing screenplays, and is known for Only You (1994) and What Women Want (2000).
