An American writer, born in New York City, USA on September 4, 1903. He married Dorothy Ciam, and they got a daughter. His most famous works include So's Your Uncle (1943), Pursuit to Algiers (1945), Spy Hunt (1950), and The Silent Service (1957-1958). He died in Los Angeles, California, USA, on August 24, 1964, at the age of 60.
