An American writer, born in Philadelphia, United States. He served in the United States Merchant Marine during World War II, and then became director of a children's theater group in Philadelphia. He then moved to New York in 1950, after which he began writing and editing in several magazines. His credits include Rough Night in Jericho (1967) and A Twist of Sand (1968). He died on 24 March 1996 in Menton, Alpes-Maritimes, France.
