American writer and producer, born July 1, 1901, Chicago, Illinois. She studied drama at the University of Illinois and earned an arts degree in literature, before also receiving a master's degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin. Her works include: The Brighter Day, Another World, Days of Our Lives and Love Is a Many Splendored Thing. She died on December 23, 1973, in Chicago.
