An American director, producer, and writer, born on September 17, 1965 in New York. He studied cinema for two years at the New York College of Visual Arts. He began his career in 1988 with the short film Lion's Den. He directed his first feature film in 1993 with Public Access. He is best known for The Usual Suspects, Superman Returns, and the X-Men series.

Bryan Singer was born on September 17, 1965 in New York City. Singer grew up in a Jewish family west of Windsor, New Jersey and graduated from West Windsor-Plainsboro High School. He studied film for two years at the School of Visual Arts in New York City for a brief period of time but did not graduate from there and then joined the USC cinema school in Los Angeles. Upon graduation Singer made a short film where Ethan Hawk and many of his friends participated in. He then participated with Christopher McQuarrie and his friend Michael in presenting a successful film at the Sundance Film Festival in 1993. Singer’s work varied between directing, writing and producing and he is famous for working on science fiction films and literary genres.
