Chris Hemsworth is an Australian actor, born in Melbourne in 1983, and moved with his family to the Northern Territory before settling on Phillip Island in southern Melbourne. Chris initially applied to participate in the TV series Home and Away, but was not accepted, and was...Read more later called to play another character in the series than the one for which he had applied. He also participated in the Australian version of the famous program Dancing with the Stars. His first movie starring came in Hollywood through the sci-fi movie Star Trek, but what brought him fame in America was his role in Thor with his two parts, which were released in 2011 and 2013 and adapted from one of the most famous comics released by Marvel. He also took on the starring role in the movie Rush, in which he collaborated for the first time with Oscar-winning director Ron Howard.
