An American actor who was born on April 17, 1965 in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. He attended Santa Monica School in California and graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in English language. His first movie was Born on the Fourth of July (1989). His most important works are the series Lost (2004-2010), In the Bedroom (2001), Another Earth (2011), and The Mentalist(2011-2014).
