In 1953, he joined the United States Army, where he served in the Military Police Corps. He then began his career in New York...Read more after completing his service. He served as production director for CBS, and later moved to ABC. His first project was developing the series The Mod Squad with producer Aaron Spelling. He's known for his work in the film series Star Trek, such as Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982). He died on February 25, 2015.
