An American actor born in Manhattan's Chinatown. He moved with his family to Long Island and attended high school. He later joined Adelphi University after receiving an acting scholarship. He obtained a master's degree from Columbia University and the City University of New York. At the age of 27, he gave up acting and worked as a teacher, and after his retirement, he returned to acting. His most important works are the series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017-2019), the movie Shooting Clerks (2019), and the movie Norman (2016).
