An American actor, singer, producer, director and writer, born in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1973. He made his film debut in Clara's Heart (1988), after which he continued to play supporting roles in a number of films, including: Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas, and Gone Girl. On television, he is best known as Barney Stinson in the series How I Met Your Mother, which earned him numerous Emmy nominations. He also performed a large number of notable plays, including: Romeo and Juliet, Sweeney Todd, Amadeus, and Rent.
