The artist Ahmed Kamel Awad was born on April 15, 1937 in the city of Mansoura. He began his journey in 1953 as a news reporter from Mansoura, then he was appointed as a press editor at Cairo News in 1954. He participated for more than fifty years in the field of journalism and...Read more advertising, as well as authoring and acting in radio, television, theater and cinema. He was a pioneer in writing the television advertisements jingles and songs, as he was the first to write it in 1968 for the private studio of "Moheeb" for the pioneers of animation Ali and Hossam Moheeb. He was also a member of the Syndicate of Film Professions, the Screenplay Division, and he was the first to employ documentary drama to serve national and productive projects. Among his works: The Three Liars (1970), and A Piece of Rust Iron.
